Mr. Bean has authored five books setting forth his proven business and performance system. In addition, his personal life planning system, first developed in the early 1990’s, is Living On Purpose, a practical personal toolkit. He is a widely sought speaker to CEO's on a range of strategic planning, marketing, and business topics and has worked extensively with YPO (Young Presidents Organization) as one of their consistently highest rated resources. He was rated #1 — Best Faculty Resource at the Super Seminar of YPO's Top Resources. He was Dean of Atlanta University Business Faculty, has been a resource at 9 universities and dozens of chapters, and has conducted the YPO Executive Committee’s Strategic Planning facilitation — summarized as "the best session ever."

In 1978, Bill joined IBM's financial organization, and during his 10 plus years at IBM, he advanced to be a divisional chief financial executive. In 1988, Mr. Bean co-founded Impact Education Services to provide high-yield training and strategic/business consulting. In 1990, Mr. Bean was appointed as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Productivity and Profit Improvement Associates (PPIA), an international full-service consulting company affiliated with Brian Tracy Learning Systems. From 2000 through 2004 Bill was Chairman overseeing the launch and growth of Automated Energy, Inc., the leading energy software company enabling companies to have real-time information in order to optimize energy usage. Bill resides in Oklahoma with his wife of thirty years, Vicki. They have two grown daughters and one son, a high school sophomore.
